ABC TELEVISION's "CATALYST"
Recently, The Steven Spellmaster Show appeared on the popular ABC show Catalyst. The Catalyst team came along to a recent performance at Club Macquarie to film parts of the Spellmaster Show for use on their program exploring the worth, power and possibilities of hypnosis used in modern society to assist with phobias, surgery & criminology.
CHANNEL NINE's "THE FOOTY SHOW"
Due to the success of Steven's performance at the Newcastle Knight's football match, he later appeared as an entertainment guest on Channel Nine's "The Footy Show" where Steven hypnotised some of NRL's most popular football players such Mario Fenech. Nobody will forget the episode in which Mario finally got his revenge on Fatty by throwing a glass of water in his face, after Steven suggested to him that Fatty's water was contaminated!
CHANNEL NINE's "MIDDAY AUSTRALIA WITH KERRIE-ANNE"
Steven appeared on Kerrie-Anne Kennerley's show as an entertainment guest when Midday was at it's most popular. Steven proved the power of hypnosis by balancing people (including a female) between two chairs, with their feet placed on one chair and their head on the other. He then suggested they would believe they were as stiff as a board while Kerrie-Anne bravely walked across their middle section. Even the fittest athletes would never attempt this feat, therefore proving that hypnosis can make even the weakest people strong.
CHANNEL SEVEN's "THE DENISE DRYSDALE SHOW"
Steven appeared on The Denise Drysdale Show, including Denise and comic assistant Laurence in another televised stunt. Steven hypnotised staff member Damien, laid him without a shirt on a bed of eight hundred nails and placed Denise on top of him to add pressure. Once again, audiences were amazed at how powerful hypnosis can be, as Damien was unscathed by the nails.
NBN's TELETHON
Steven, ever committed to charity work with the John Hunter Childrens Cancer Hospital, jumped at the oppportunity to be part of the NBN Telethon, performing live on television with hypnotised studio audience volunteers and an always hilariousl Super Hubert. Steven has a continuing relationship with the John Hunter Childrens Hospital and along with his staff, he continues to fundraise through donations from fans attending the Steven Spellmaster Stage Hypnotist Show. Resulting donationsl have now reached $70,000 with the latest goal set at $100,000.
